  • yarrow flowers
  • knife
  • alcohol (100 proof reportedly works really well)
  • jar

[edit] What you do

  1. Chop up the flowers
  2. Put the chopped flowers in a jar
  3. Fill it with alcohol and seal it
  4. Wait 6 weeks, shaking the jar each day
  5. Strain the flowers out of the alcohol
  6. If you like, you can put it in a little spray bottle and you’ve got yourself some quality insect repellent!
